Become a BCSF Board Member
Are you interested in supporting BCSC public school teachers, students, and administrators? Do you have a passion for the community? If so, consider becoming a BCSF board member. As a board member, you will be volunteering to support the governance of one of the state's oldest nonprofit organizations. We are currently seeking new members for the 2024 board slate. We are especially interested in diverse candidates, and those with an understanding of nonprofit financial management and QuickBooks Online.
Requirements:
-Attendance at quarterly in-person meetings
-Willingness to help plan and attend events and fundraisers
-Desire to share the BCSF message to your sphere of influence
-Ability to serve three-year terms (with option to continue for three more years)
-Motivation to learn nonprofit governance and gift acceptance processes and policies
