A Message from the BCSF Staff and Board of Directors: 

A local math teacher noticed her students were not focused, and thought better lighting might help.

A middle school science educator wanted her class to experience nature up close, and desired a bird feeding station and a butterfly bath.

An elementary teacher understood that some students worked better standing up—and hoped for a standing desk.

Children who wanted to draw pictures of themselves simply could not—because they did not have coloring tools to match their skin tone. A teacher sought “Colors of the World” pencils.

These wish list items were fulfilled, thanks to grants from the Bartholomew Consolidated School Foundation. For nearly 70 years, BCSF has supported classrooms with tools that help bring learning to life. To keep doing this for our kids, we need you. Here is how you can help:

The Bartholomew Consolidated School Foundation has partnered with DonorsChoose, a 21st Century approach to connecting donors to directly support local classrooms. Through DonorsChoose, teachers are empowered to fund supplies and grants for the classroom and beyond. BCSF will match $1 for $1 up to $500 for any grants that are $1,000 or less.
